Probation

If you are on academic probation, there is no action taken on your SEVIS record.

Suspension

If you are suspended from Syracuse University or SUNY-ESF, you must transfer to another school in the United States within 21 days of your suspension or leave the United States immediately. Please contact a Slutzker Center advisor as soon as you learn that you have been suspended from SU or SUNY-ESF to avoid violating the immigration regulations.
