Welcome New Students and Scholars - and Welcome Back to All Returning Students!

The weather has been beautiful to begin the new academic year. Approximately 700 new students have joined us on campus since the middle of summer. Several orientation programs have introduced them to our community, to immigration regulations, to health and safety concerns, and to programs available on campus. If you are a new student reading this message and HAVE NOT attended an orientation program, be aware that LATE ORIENTATION will be held on Friday, September 7 from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Please schedule this on your calendar!  Any new student who has not attended an orientation program will have a HOLD placed on their student records and will not be allowed to register for the spring 2008 semester.  We hope that the orientation programs have been (or will be) of great benefit to you in your adjustment to life in Syracuse.  Enjoy the fall semester!

Sincerely,
Dr. Patricia A. Burak

Director
