A musical soiree - "VALENTINE'S DAY CONCERT" was held at the Slutzker Center for International Services on Friday, February 15. The concert featured the Kawai Baby Grand Piano which was donated by Lillian Slutzker, and musicians from a variety of countries (France, China, Ireland, Taiwan, Dominican Republic and USA). In addition to the piano, violin, flute, Irish pipe, guitar and voice presentations delighted the audience.

It was tremendous. The audience was as varied as you can imagine: Bangladesh, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Egypt, India, Korea, the list just goes on and on! We had a standing room only (always, for these concerts). After the concert, a “Sweet” reception was held, and our Spanish speakers all gathered around the guitarist/vocalist from the Dominican singing Spanish songs until we had to close the building. A good time was had by all!
